Steve Sexton
Steve Sexton is the President of the Sexton Advisory Group in Temecula, California. Mr. Sexton has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and holds multiple licenses and designations. Each year, Mr. Sexton educates area investors by holding educational seminars open to the public. He also provides financial advisories on the morning show "San Diego Living."
As a cancer survivor, Mr. Sexton has learned first hand the impact one can have by giving back to those in need. Whether volunteering time to drive someone to chemotherapy treatments or donating hair for a wig, everyone can do something.
Steve Sexton has chosen to focus on raising money for charity by utilizing his own talents. The Sexton Advisory Group offers free financial consultations where he can help you find money that is "falling through the cracks." The goal is to find that money and donate all, some of it to a good cause.
This has been very successful and many people have given back to charities close to them. Others have decided to donate back to the Financial Knowledge Institute, where funds are allocated to a variety of worthy causes.
Steve is a resident of Temecula and is happily married to his wife, Lora of 14 years. He enjoys spending time with his 2 children, Connor (12), and Paige (11).

Douglas L. Edgar, Esq.
Attorney-at-Law
Douglas Edgar is currently a sole practitioner working in the related fields of estate planning, elder law, and probate. He has received hundreds of hours of specialized training in these areas and regularly attends
continuing education courses to keep current with the steady changes in the law and federal and state regulations.
Doug also served as local counsel on a part-time basis for a nationally known religious non-profit legal organization. He has volunteered over 1,000 hours of free legal services to non-profit organizations, groups, and individuals. He has helped low-income qualified persons in completing the complex paperwork for the temporary and permanent appointment of a guardianship for minor children. Doug has volunteered to provide free legal advice at a low-income clinic in Vista, California. He provided initial consultations to these people to
provide them with legal guidance to assist them with their legal questions and problems. In conjunction with the clinic, he is also a trained mediator and attempts to resolve issues before they become legal problems.
As a volunteer mentor with Volunteers in Parole, he has successfully mentored individuals through their parole period plus an additional six months. Several of these individuals still communicate with him even though their official period has expired.
Prior to attending law school, Doug served for three years in the United States Army as a military policeman. After his discharge, he became a California Highway Patrol officer and then sergeant. He was medically
retired after 18 years with the CHP. He has taught courses at Mira Costa, Mt San Jacinto, and Palomar Community Colleges in the area of estate planning. Doug and his wife Teresa have been married for 26 years, and they have twin 27-year-old boys.
