Professional Biography of Eric Heckman, CFP®
Eric Heckman, CFP®  is the National Director for the Financial Knowledge Institute, a 501c3 non-profit educational organization comprised of various financial professionals. Attorneys, Financial Advisors, Real Estate Professionals and Mortgage Bankers conduct un-biased, onsite, instructional workshops on important financial topics, including retirement planning, financial management, estate planning, asset allocation, and more. The Financial Knowledge Institute conducts hundreds of workshops a year for companies, organizations, institutions, and associations of all types.

Eric Heckman holds a B.S.C. degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. Eric is also is the President of HFIS, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and holds several designations: ChFC, CLU, and CLA. Mr. Heckman founded the firm in 1992 and is licensed in multiple states.

Eric finds that many professionals simply get caught up in the crisis of everyday business and family concerns, unwittingly postponing their personal and family financial planning and thereby run the risk of sacrificing their current and future security. With the high speed of life in Silicon Valley, people need to stop to make sure they are on track financially. With a desire to help people plan for their financial futures, Eric assists individuals and families of all income levels in identifying their personal and family goals in order to obtain a comfortable level of financial security for today and tomorrow.

Eric is a member of the San Jose Downtown Rotary and on the Board for the Santa Clara County Boy Scouts and the Horace Mann School Foundation. He is a Cub Scout Den Leader and a soccer coach. Eric is married to his wife Anna and they have 3 sons, Owen, Ethan & Aidan.

Professional Biography of Jennine Pippin                                                          
Jennine Pippin is the National Coordinator for the Financial Knowledge Institute. As National Coordinator, Jennine enjoys reaching out to local companies and helping provide this wonderfully free benefit to employees. With the rising costs of living and the economic crisis, companies are finding our services more valuable than ever. The Financial Knowledge Institute is a great way to let your employees know that while we are in a global economic crisis, you still deeply care about their personal well-being and are providing them with the tools to educate them in their personal financial matters to ease their day to day stress.

Jennine also specializes in helping develop new chapters around the nation to carry on the wonderful message that the FKI sends.
